Against All Odds is a film directed and produced by FX Productions Canada.

From Halifax to the Olympics, Shay’ Colleys journey is one of resilience and determination. Leaving East Preston for bigger basketball dreams in Toronto, she faced cultural shifts, injuries, and personal loss—but never wavered.

FX Productions Canada captured her relentless training, battles through injury, and drive to represent Canadian women’s basketball. Fueled by faith, family, and love for the game, she always pushed harder.

Now, as she aims for Los Angeles 2028, Shay continues to defy the odds, building a legacy beyond basketball.
