Job Description

FX is looking for an experienced Photographer. The Photographer plays a crucial role in the post-production process. They are responsible for capturing and editing photos.

We are currently looking for experienced photographers in one or more of the following industries:

• Portrait Photographers
• Event Photographers
• Commercial Photographers
• Product Photographers
• Sports Photographers
• Architectural Photographers
• Food Photographers
• Macro Photographers
• Documentary Photographers

The photographer will work closely with the producers, delivering high-quality and impactful photo content for TV, and/or Social Media. With years of experience, photographers are expected to be highly confident with their skills.

Responsibilities

1. Edit and Assemble: Organize and edit raw photos into polished, engaging, and high-quality photos while maintaining the correct brand guidelines.
2. Collaborate with Creative Team: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver content that meets creative and technical standards.
3. Implement Feedback: Receive revisions from the directors of FX and implement them promptly.
4. Manage Media Assets: Organize and manage all media assets, ensuring all files are properly stored and backed up for easy access and retrieval.
5. Handle Multiple Projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising the quality of the output.
6. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the editing process and find creative solutions to maintain the project timeline.

Requirements and Skills

1. Proven Experience: Must have at least 10+ years of demonstrated experience as a photographer and photo editor and graphics designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
2. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, AdobeLightroom.
3. Creativity and Storytelling: Strong creative skills with an eye for symmetry and good picture detail.
4. Understanding of Post-Production: In-depth knowledge of the post-production process, including color correction and grading, special effects, and using AI.
5. Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with the creative team and the directors of FX.
6. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
7. Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the editing process.
8. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in all photo outputs.
9. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback.
10. Educational Background: A degree or diploma in film studies, cinematography, or a related field is preferred but not required.
11. Passion for the Industry: A passion for photography production and a continuous desire to learn and implement new techniques.
